A Critique evening with support from Kevin Marsh and others. Bring along an image or two on a memory stick for advice and critique and a few Photoshop tips along the way!

We visited the club last year but it was a bit of a disappointment because there was no wind. I hope that I have booked a windy night for us. Sarah, their club secretary said that she will try to get some of us out on their RIB to get nearer the action. They have more members on the water on Thursdays, hence the altered date. They also have a very nice clubhouse and bar and the people that we met last year are very friendly. What Three Words: Lodge.Remote.Charm

At Robert's suggestion, we will visit the village of Deene. It has Deene Park, a stately home that may perhaps be photographed from the outside and a picturesque lake. St Peter’s church comemorates Crimean soldier General James Brudenell, 7th Earl of Cardigan who led the Charge of the Light Brigade. Thomas Henry Wyatt was commissioned to effectively rebuild the medieval church, retaining only it’s original tower and spire. A nice lady called Pauline will allow us to access the church.

After a speaker at club showed us his AV's several members have shown an interest on creating their own AV's. Geoff has volunteered to talk through how to put one together with images and a music backing track.

David's first talk to RDPS will be by Zoom.

Peter Benson FRPS MCrGP AWPF CPAGB BPE3, is a keen urban nightscape photographer. He can often be found walking along the banks of the Thames in London with his camera and tripod just out for his own enjoyment. During this talk Peter takes us back into the history of Night Photography running alongside his family history in Photography and then on a tour around some of his favourite places for night photography in the UK. He also shows some of the places he has been to further afield in cities like Dresden...
