Vist to Thrapston Lakes. This is Robert's suggestion.
Thrapston Lakes – NN14 4GD
Parking is free and they have just resurfaced the car park.
There are numerous walks around can be short or long, quite a few Hides around the site. Robert is happy to lead the group around the long route which is about 5 miles and takes around 1.5 to 2 hours. Some of us may prefer a shorter walk.
Socialising later at the King's Arms, High Street, Thapston NN14 4JJ. A freehouse with real ale and a rear car park.

For those that have never been
The postcode NN14 4GD takes you to the Meadows Surgery, if you turn left and follow the lane down, on your left will be the football ground, at the end of the lane on the left is a skateboard park, just round the bend is the new car park. Check it out on google maps - Co-ordinates - 52°24'01.1"N 0°32'24.9"W
If it's been raining the night or day before might be good for decent footware as it can be muddy. Looking forward to it
I checked out the walk yesterday evening and the short route is still closed off, it will have to be the 2 longer routes
